Blocks

We had fun tonight playing with blocks. We were singing a song (build up the tower, build up the tower, build up the tower...and Brady knocks it down). Both Jack and Brady thought this was hillarious! It's the first time I've heard Brady laugh out loud for a reason other than me tickling him or playing peek a boo :) He really is getting a cute little personality.

November weather (sort of)

Today was 60 degrees at the warmest point! We are all congested but we found time to make it outside and get some fresh air. Jack ran around and kicked the soccer ball and Brady watched from up high in the swing. Of course then Jackson had to have his turn in the swing. It really was gorgeous weather for this time of year!

Cutest Bumblebee Around Town

We had a fun (yet very tiring!) Halloween this year. We started when daddy got home from work. We took the Caterpillar and Bumblebee up to see 'MiMi' at the hospital. Everyone there loved our little bugs. On our way back we got dinner and took it to GiGis house to eat. Gigi couldn't get over how cute the costumes were even though Brady only tolerated his for about two seconds. We then made it back home and took Jack down the street to see our neighbors. Brady was ready to go home but Jack wasn't so he and Daddy went around the block to Trick or Treat some more. Our streets were lined with kids this year which was really a lot of fun for Jackson. The funniest thing was that our neighbor, Jackson's friend Katie, was also a bumblebee for Halloween. They were really cute.

Mom's Surprise 50th

Just posting a few pics of mom's surprise 50th birthday party. We never thought we'd get her there but luckily she went along with the plan :)

Carolyn's Country Cousins

We have decided to make the trip to Carolyn's one of our Fall traditions. Although it is outrageously priced, Jack always has a great time. We introduced it to Brady this year for the first time. Jackson really learned what a pumpkin was this year. He could do almost everything they had available and Brady was just along for the ride. Jack's favorite part, of course, was feeding the animals. This was my least favorite part, however, because of our track record of being bit by the 'friendly' animals. Jack and Daddy rode the choo choo train this year which seemed to be lots of fun (for both of them, I'm sure :) We lasted about an hour and a half this year which is awesome compared to last year's 45 minutes. I love fall :)

New Pics

Here is our latest try at professional pics. It's much more challenging with Jackson now. You almost just have to just click click click as soon as he runs in the frame and hope that maybe he will be looking somewhere near the camera. Brady's still in that 'anything will amuse me' stage so he's much easier. They are also in their Halloween costumes in a couple of the pics. We went for the Bug theme this year. Jack is a Bumblebee and Brady is a Caterpillar. Too cute, huh?

Here we go again!

Alright, so I haven't been very good so far at posting here but I'm going to try again...We were blessed with a wonderful addition to our family on March 27th, 2008. Braden Michael Stacy was born and he was a big boy! He weighed 8 lbs 12.9 oz (almost exactly what Jackson weighed when he was born! He is such a sweet boy and I can't believe how much he has grown already! He's almost 4 months old now and as smiley as can be! He laughs the hardest when I tickle his little chubby chin. Jackson has adapted very well and has even been a very good helper, especially worried when Brady spits (He always knows right where the burp cloth is!) I have been back to work now for 3 weeks and it is going very well. It is nice to have some adult interaction but I can't help but miss my babies when I'm gone.

The Beginning!

Hi Everyone! Or in the words of my son, Hiya! I've decided to start a blog about the adventures of the Stacys. This is also serving as a way for me to meditate on how very soon our newest bundle of joy will arrive. We're so anxious/excited/nervous/all these feelings balled up into one. I plan on posting new pics of Jackson as they are taken as well so everyone can see what a ham he really is. At this posting I am 33 weeks and 4 days preggo. I feel like I've been pregnant since the beginning of time. The first two trimesters went so very fast, chasing my little Jack Jack around the house and keeping up with work and such. The last few weeks, however, seem to have taken FOREVER! I think it's just because I have the itch to hold a little tiny beebee again. I can't wait to meet the precious sibling that will change Jackson's world forever :)
